ERG and the GOSH arrange a visit of a well-known UK oncologist Dr Michalski to Astana

The Slogan of Eurasian Resources Group is " Experience, Responsibility and Legacy"

Eurasian Resources Group (ERG), a leading diversified natural resources producer, in cooperation with the London-based Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), continues to implement a five-year scholarship programme for Kazakhstani doctors. As a part of this programme, the country's paediatricians get assistance in developing their expertise in cancer diagnosis and advanced medical treatment. ERG has arranged special workshops for the young medical staff with a famous UK oncologist, Dr Antony Julian Michalski, on November 16-20th.

Being a responsible corporate citizen, ERG has been providing medical services in Kazakhstan and other countries of its operational presence for many years. The British expert described new methods of brain tumour diagnosis aimed at children and infants, such as molecular biology and treatment of medulloblastomas, which have not yet been adopted in Kazakhstan.
'Representing the Republic of Kazakhstan, many doctors have visited London as part of the 5-year scholarship programme launched by ERG and GOSH,' said Dr. Michalski. 'I know some of these doctors personally. They can now provide the highest-possible medical service to a large number of children who have major problems with their health. Eurasian Resources Group, with whom we have been working closely all these years, continuously supports the health care system by enabling specialists from various countries to share their experience.
