Old Nakhlak has become young!

ME-METALS – Behrouz Borna; member of Iran Minerals Production and Supply Company (IMPASCO) board of directors said: regarding high attention of IMPASCO to exploration sectors and extensive exploration operations in some parts of the country, we have been able to convert Lead mine of Nakhlak which didn’t have harvestable resources before and had been changed to old Nakhlak, to young Nakhlak through exploring new resources.

Reported by ME-METALS, according to IMPASCO public relations, Behrouz Borna continued: currently, Reverse Immigration Wave has been formed in Nakhlak area and active workforces in this complex have been increased from 150 to 300 people.

Borna with respect to high mineral potential in east of Iran said: the provinces of South Khorasan & Sistan and Baluchestan are really apt for mineralization and IMPASCO has been able to explore proper resources of copper, porphyry & vein gold, iron and also veins of antimony in these areas.

This member of IMPASCO board mentioned: sanctions will be a good opportunity. Although mining process may be time-consuming without the presence of foreign companies, it’s still feasible, since experienced experts have been trained in the sectors of exploration and exploitation in the recent years.

He added: IMPASCO is now active in 24 provinces of the country and it has achieved satisfying results so far.

Pointing out the revival of small scale mines, Borna said: one of the IMPASCO’s main plans is helping to revive and activate small scale mines, which is aligned with contribution to private sector and production boom and employment increase in areas with mineral potentials.
